Your writing style is matured, easy reading and describes your experience well with short text. I was beginning to despair ever finding a local "writer" who would not sink to the gutters of Singlish. Mind you, I'm not a snob, but just check out the local national newspaper (I get the internet interactive only) to experience lightweight and juvenile journalism & blogs... Keep up your good blog, a beacon to say all is not lost. Joel
